Nestled in the heart of Intercourse, Pennsylvania, Corner Coffee Shop is more than just a stop for your daily caffeine fix—it’s a warm, inviting retreat that captures the essence of Lancaster County’s charm. At 3526 Old Philadelphia Pike, this cozy spot stands out with its locally sourced coffee beans, crafted into perfect hot and cold beverages that mirror genuine care and expertise.
What struck me most about Corner Coffee Shop is its authentic atmosphere, blending modern farmhouse decor with a comforting, homey vibe. It’s a place where you can enjoy your drink from a real coffee cup, not just a disposable paper one—a subtle touch that shows their respect for quality and sustainability. The aroma alone, a rich blend of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods, instantly feels like a warm embrace.
The menu goes beyond great coffee. From freshly baked pastries to hearty soups and sandwiches, each item tells a story of local craftsmanship and thoughtful preparation. I was particularly impressed by their coffee peanut butter cheesecake brownie—a decadent treat that perfectly marries robust coffee flavors with creamy sweetness. Gluten-free options, like the scones, also reflect their inclusivity, catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
Another highlight is the connection to the local Amish community, reflected not just in the fresh ingredients but also in the handcrafted furniture and unique gifts available on-site. This blend of culinary and artisanal offerings makes the shop feel like a true treasure house, extending the experience beyond just food and drink.
Whether you seek a quiet corner to work with free WiFi or a lively spot with occasional live music, Corner Coffee Shop offers both. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness, even when busy, add personal warmth that keeps patrons coming back. It’s clear this café is more than a business—it’s a cherished community hub that respects tradition while embracing a modern coffee culture.
In sum, Corner Coffee Shop is a destination where quality coffee, crafted pastries, and genuine hospitality converge. Its charm lies in these thoughtful details, making every visit feel like coming home to a beloved local gem.
“ Every single time we visit the Lancaster area my husband and I stop here. The locally sourced coffee and other beverages (hot and cold) offered are always spot on. I love that you have the option to enjoy your drink in an actual coffee cup rather than a paper takeout. Baked goods, soups and sandwiches are available as well. We love the warm, comfortable atmosphere and free WiFi is available. There is also an option to sit outside on their nice patio when the weather is mild. The Corner Coffee Shop opens to the Treasure Place, a home furnishings store with new and uniquely refurbished items. We always make it part of our coffee stop to wander through the store. ”
“ I am guessing they were short staffed w was one person was at the cafe serving and taking orders. She managed to stay focused while maintaining friendly chit chat with patrons. We didn't have to wait too long. Would go back. ”
“ This is a wonderfully cute place with a modern farmhouse decor and even better coffee. The pastry selections are fantastic too. ”
“ The most perfect coffee shop ever. People are just so very nice & trusting. The place is super cute and smells great. You can take your own coffee and drop the money in a jar. The cakes are delicious. I tried the coffee peanut butter cheesecake brownie and it was divine! The shop or rather treasure house is wonderful. Spread over two floors, they have the most beautiful stuff for home and to give as gifts. They also sell souvenirs and T-shirts. The bathrooms are spanking clean and the whole place has a lovely positive vibe or energy. It’s in smuckers village across the road from kitchen kettle in Intercourse, Pennsylvania and everyone here is just lovely, kind and happy. It’s a great place to be. ”
“ Cute coffee cafe. We had the iced lattes and they were good. They even have gluten free scones which my wife loved because she’s gluten sensitive. Great place if you’re in the Intercourse, Pa area. ”
